From the Farms This Week
18th Century Purity Farms – Special for Independence Day, we will be bringing our “Patriotic Potatoes”, a mixture of freshly dug red, white, and blue potatoes. We also have heads of red and green lettuce, scallions, garlic scapes, green garlic, fingerling potatoes, the first blueberries of the season, a few gooseberries, and still a few of last Fall’s apples for sauce and juice. Friends of the Market will receive a $1 discount off of total purchase.
Colgan Farm – This week I will have zucchini and yellow summer squash, heirloom Japanese carrots (super sweet), heirloom beets, curly kale, cucumbers-perfect for a picnic!, maple syrup, bok choi, multicolored free range chicken eggs, sweet peppers, and locally sourced hardwood handcrafted charcuterie boards. Friends of the Market get $1 off a purchase of $15 or more.
DeLuca Family Farm – Tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, bok choy, lettuce, and basil. I have my fingers crossed for CORN! Not sure if it will be ready but there’s a fighting chance…Friends of the Market will receive a bunch of basil for only $2 with a purchase of 2+ pounds of tomatoes.
Easy Pickin’s Orchard – This week, we’ll be bringing a lot! Bunched kale: red curly, green curly, Tuscan head lettuce (likely leaf, butterhead, Romaine), bagged lettuce mix, conehead (caraflex) summer cabbage, BROCCOLI!!!, kohlrabi, summer carrots, Hakurei turnips, snap peas, green & golden zucchini & yellow summer squash, pickling cucumbers, Unagi specialty slicing cucumbers, spring onions, tomatoes, sweet (bell) & hot peppers, bunched herbs: basil & sage. 10% off a $10+ purchase for all Friends of the Market.
Shenstone Gardens – We will have tomatoes, broccoli, summer squash, cucumbers, kale, and sweet basil, along with white watermelon radishes at this Sunday’s market. Friends of the Market get $1 off their total purchase.
Proctor Hall Farm – Chops, shoulder, butt, spare ribs, country ribs, hot and sweet Italian, bratwurst, chorizo, ground pork, breakfast sausage, bacon and jowl bacon. Half chickens, and eggs.

Chet’s Italian Ice* – We will be serving our famous “Patriot” flavor Italian ice this week in honor of the holiday. We make this every year for the week of the Fourth of July. It’s our Classic Lemon with fresh whole blueberries and raspberries. Make any picnic fun with our famous sparkling water Italian soda drinks!

Mac’s Wood Fired BBQ – We will be dishing out all our specialities of smoked meats and our funky TexMex sides and sauces! All of our meats are sourced locally and cooked over live fire and smoke only using red oak. We will be offering our top favorites including our #1 seller Smoked Brisket, Chucky’s Burnt Ends aka ‘Meat Candy’, and Smoked Maple Pork Belly Bites. We will also have our main staples of smoked pulled pork and smoked pulled chicken that you can have in our meat platters, sandwiches, or street tacos 😋 This week’s market special is candied bacon on a stick! We’re sprinkling Taylor Spring Farm‘s bacon with brown sugar, our house blend sweet heat rub, and drizzling it with local maple syrup from Hydeville Sugar Shack! Friends of the Market can benefit from taking $1 off their $15 or more purchase!
